Do I need to provide water or power?

Yes, we ask that you have access to an outdoor water spigot and a power outlet at the job site. We bring everything else.

How long does a detail take?

It depends on the package and your vehicle’s condition. Essential starts at 2 hours, Signature (deep cleaning) starts at 2 hours 30 minutes, and Ultimate (paint correction) starts at 3 hours 30 minutes. Interior, our interior-only package, starts at 1 hour 30 minutes. We’ll give you a time estimate with your quote.

How much does a mobile detail cost?

Pricing depends on your vehicle and the package you choose. Essential starts at $195, Signature starts at $290, Ultimate starts at $345, and Interior, our interior-only package, starts at $140. We also offer Monthly Detailing, the same detail as Essential on a recurring schedule, starting at $140. What if it’s raining or bad weather?

We’ll work with you to reschedule at no cost. A garage or covered driveway also lets most appointments go ahead as planned.

What’s included in each package?

Essential covers a full exterior wash and interior vacuuming, including the trunk, for a car that’s already in good shape. Signature adds a deeper clean: clay bar, wax, leather and trim care, and interior steam cleaning. Ultimate is our paint restoration tier, adding paint polishing, correction, and sealant on top of everything in Signature. Interior is an interior-only package for when the outside doesn’t need attention: vacuuming, wiping down all surfaces, steam cleaning, vinyl and trim protectant, and air dusting. Ceramic coating, window coating, upholstery shampooing, engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration, headliner cleaning, and odor removal are optional add-ons on any package. How should I prepare for my appointment?

Just clear out personal items and anything loose in the interior, and make sure we’ll have access to a water spigot and a power outlet at the job site. Everything else is on us.

How long does a ceramic coating last?

Accepted Answer

A professionally applied coating lasts two to five years with normal maintenance. For comparison, a carnauba wax lasts four to eight weeks and a synthetic sealant four to six months. Wait about seven days after application before the first wash, while the coating cures.

Will a ceramic coating stop rock chips?

Accepted Answer

No. A ceramic coating is a chemical layer: it adds gloss, makes water bead, and makes washing easier, and it resists UV and chemicals. It does not absorb impact. Paint protection film is the product that resists rock chips, and the two are often layered together.

Is a ceramic coating worth it?

Accepted Answer

Usually yes if you are keeping the car three or more years, you park outside, or you want washing to take half as long. Usually no if you are on a short lease, or you already garage the car and wax it on schedule. We will tell you which one you are before you book.

Does paint correction remove scratches?

Accepted Answer

It removes defects that sit within the clear coat: swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and water spotting. Here is a test you can run yourself: if your fingernail catches in the scratch, it is too deep for correction to remove fully.

Question 14

Does paint correction fix chips?

Accepted Answer

No. A chip has gone through the clear coat to the primer or the metal underneath. That needs touch-up or a respray, which is bodywork rather than detailing. We will point you to a body shop rather than sell you a correction that cannot fix it.

Question 15

What is the difference between one-step and two-step paint correction?

Accepted Answer

A one-step is a polish alone and lifts roughly 60 to 70 percent of visible defects. A two-step compounds first and then polishes, reaching 85 to 95 percent. Which one your car needs depends on how deep the swirls are, which is what the walkaround at the start of the appointment is for.
